Focused Team Synergy is a program of Mental Health America of Virginia (MHAV) developed to energize participants, build social capital, and provide team decision making and problem solving skills. This program is targeted towards individuals, groups and organizations engaging in system transformation and community improvement.
Program goals may include:
• Building group empowerment
• Identifying and capitalizing on individual and group strengths
• Self organization and assigning roles, duties or tasks
• Conflict management and productive communication
• Fostering a common approach to solutions
• Clarifying consensus issues
• Prioritizing goals
• Action planning
The one day program is mobile and easily delivered at your worksite or in your community. MHAV educational programs place great emphasis on interactive learning. Our teaching approach accommodates for a variety of adult learners through skill building, role playing and experiential activities.
