CELT
Consumer Empowerment Leadership Training
A four day training designed to give mental health consumers important tools for successful leadership and the skills to make their voices heard.
ABIL
Agoraphobics Building Independent Lives
A non-profit organization founded in 1986 by the late Shirley Ford Green, ABIL has helped thousands of Virginians in their recovery from anxiety illnesses, debilitating phobias, panic disorder, and agoraphobia through educational events and self-help support groups.
With its move to MHAV, ABIL continues to promote mental wellness with the development of the ABIL Warm and a yearly educational event. One of our major goals is to work to eliminate the stigma associated with panic disorder and other anxiety illnesses.
